01 - Foundation
Mark habits with one click. A color system shows your monthly progress at a glance.
Streaks, 6-month charts, and completion balance on a big screen where data is easy to read.
Dao philosophy: small steps every day beat rare sprints. No pressure, no overload.
02 - Inside the app
This list comes from the app code, not a marketing deck. Here is how DaoDaily keeps your rhythm day after day.
A habit does not have to be daily: set 1 to 7 times per week. The quota lives inside each calendar week and never carries debt over - a missed week does not turn the next one into punishment.
Presets for 7, 21, 30, 66 and 90 days. 66 is the median for automaticity in the Lally study (UCL, 2010). Goals are measured in check-ins, not in perfect streaks.
Every 30 goal days add one spare day. 30 check-ins in 31 days still completes the goal. Science agrees: a single missed day barely affects habit formation.
Pick weekdays, time and your timezone - we remind you only if the habit is not checked yet. No push notifications, no spam.
On vacation or sick? Pause the habit or mark a skip as excused. Your stats stay honest and your streak stays alive.
An activity heatmap, a six-period trend, a completed / missed balance and streaks - on a big screen where data is easy to read.
The tracker shows which weekday you slip on most often and which habits are stalling. Not guesses - statistics from your own check-ins.
25%, 50%, 75% and the finish line - confetti and a congratulation the moment you check in. Each milestone fires once: pleasant, never pushy.
The app interface is available in Russian, English, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Indonesian, French, Japanese, German and Hindi.
03 - Habit math
The widget below runs the same formulas as the app: check-ins required, spare grace days and celebration milestones.
Goal length
Median for automaticity in the Lally study (UCL)
Times per week
The formula from the app code: check-ins = (goal days / 7) x frequency; 1 grace day per 30 goal days. Based on Lally et al. (UCL, 2010): a habit takes 66 days on average.
